Eligible for Board of Social Work CEU's

The goal of this workshop is to provide the attendees with a broad range of information related to retirement such as: pension distribution options, investment strategies, investment distribution strategies, tax-efficient investing, Medicare, Social Security, risks associated with retirement, and legacy/estate planning.

Objectives
The overall objective is to educate attendees in the variety of topics related to pre-retirement and retirement. The objective is to provide attendees with information so they can make educated decisions on a wide array of issues, and to provide them with a trusted resource should they decide that’s right for them and their family. The objective is for the attendees to implement strategies that meet their needs and goals.

Presenter Bio: 
Dan Athmann - Dan is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent and has worked at Thrivent for eight years. Prior to this, Dan was a police officer in Burnsville for 25 years,
retiring in June 2014.  Dan specializes in educating and working with public safety individuals and families to develop strategies designed to meet his client’s needs. Dan’s undergraduate work is from St. Cloud State and his Master’s Degree is from the University of St. Thomas. Dan has the Series 7 and 66 designations, and FICF, RICP®
